We're home...

How quickly it's over, the anticipation, the waiting,
Santa's arrival then opening the carefully wrapped gifts.
Ooh-ing and ah-ing at the many presents received,
feasting and frolicking with our family and friends.

Then time to move on with life, to return home
always the best part of any trip anywhere.
We left in a full blizzard and arrived home
to 42 degrees and lots of sunshine.
We love our desert retirement home.

  4. We're home also... at last.

I have such "yoyo" feelings when I leave my children. It's such fun to be with them, but I miss the peace of our surroundings at the Hollow.

We've had sunshine everywhere... but it didn't bring any warmth with it. At least not that you'd notice.

I will try to post tomorrow or the next day. I've had some strange thoughts tumbling around in my brain. My daughter recommended a book that addressed a couple of them a bit. But, I still want to hammer them out a little more... and guess who gets to sit in on my processing. Uhhh... .that would be my friends in the blogger world.

  5. Proof again there's no place like home, which is everywhere on one level and one special place on another!
