Santa Fe kid

Visiting my grandson Hakan who lives in Santa Fe with his parents-my son Frank and wife Nedret. We are celebrating Hakan's birthday coming up Aug 5th. He will be five years old and starting kindergarten.

Fascinating town, we went to the Farmer's Market today and enjoyed seeing all the fresh veggies for sale-notice the oyster mushrooms. Here's some photos from our fun day.

  1. Isn't it funny, just a couple of weeks separated your visit to Santa Fe from Kay's. Now I guess I'll have to go there; you both make it sound so delightful.

    Give your grandson extra hugs.

  2. I am so wishing I was there. My favorite thing to do on holiday is go to a Farmer's Market. I love em..love em..love em!

YOU are looking mighty good, my friend. What is that wall hanging
behind Haken?? Is it a body image of him? Whatever it is looks interesting. He's sure a good looking boy!!

Enjoy the rest of your trip!

  4. I'm taking a few minutes to catch up. I especially liked your "Waiting For Monsoons", and gorgeous scenery. I love to visit the southwest, just not in mid-summer.
